The Wild Robot Escapes
The Wild Robot Escapes
The Wild Robot Escapes is a fantastic sequel the the book The Wild Robot by Peter Brown.
Readers will more than likely be already familiar with this story as it is now a hugely successful motion picture.
In this book, we continue Roz’s journey immediately after she gets taken back to the robot repair factory to be ‘fixed’.
She longs for her friends and her adopted son (Brightbill) but she’s realistic, her robot body just isn’t what it once was.
She needs to be repaired and then escape back to the wild as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, right after she has been repaired, Roz is shipped off to a farm where she is hooked up to a tracking device and then forced to help the poor family that owns the farm.
Roz is conflicted, she warms to the young children and wants to help the farm thrive, but she cannot live with the thought of never seeing Brightbill or the island of animals again.
